Join us for a celebration of history and fun at National Lighthouse Day on August 7th! This special day marks the 236th anniversary of the signing of the 1789 Lighthouse Act. The New Jersey Lighthouse Society invites you to the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse for a day filled with games and surprises for all children. The festivities kick off with a ceremony at 10 a.m., and the lighthouse will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free, and donations are welcome. Come explore the lighthouse, enjoy the beautiful gardens, and learn about the rich maritime history of the area.
