Trolley

Hop on board! Victorian open-air trolley cars provide a convenient way to get around the Wildwoods. In season, daily trolley service operates from 5:30 PM to midnight in Wildwood Crest and Wildwood from Seapointe Village to Schellenger Avenue along the streets closest to the beach. Trolleys are operated by Five Mile Beach Electric Railway Company, the oldest continuously operating trolley company in the United States.

Tram Car

The famous Wildwood Tram Cars have been in service since 1949! Trams operate during the season along the two miles of the world-famous Wildwood Boardwalk from 16th Street in North Wildwood to Cresse Avenue in Wildwood. Operation begins at 11 a.m. daily and generally goes until the amusement piers close. A one-way ride takes about 30 minutes and costs $4.00 per person. You may get on or off anywhere along the route. Discount tickets are available at the Tram Office and at various locations along the boardwalk. “Watch the tram car, please!”
