Tram Car

If you hear the phrase "Watch the Tram Car please", you must be on the Wildwood boardwalk. The famous tram car service operates during the season along the two mile boardwalk.

Tram Car Facts

• The tram cars started running on June 11, 1949.
• They were built for the 1939 New York World’s Fair and brought to the island by S.B. Ramagosa.
• The route is from 16th Street in North Wildwood to Cresse Avenue at the Wildwood/Wildwood Crest border.
