If you hear the phrase "Watch the Tram Car please", you must be on the Wildwood boardwalk. The famous tram car service operates during the season along the two mile boardwalk.

- The tram cars started running on June 11, 1949.
- They were built for the 1939 New York World’s Fair and brought to the island by S.B. Ramagosa.
- The route is from 16th Street in North Wildwood to Cresse Avenue at the Wildwood/Wildwood Crest border.
